In her second film, Fresh, director Mimi Cave’s Holland presents an appealing exterior that slowly unveils a reality that is considerably less captivating than it initially appears. Nancy Vandergroot, a resident of Holland, Michigan, leads a contented life with her husband, Fred, the local optometrist, and their child, Harry. However, upon finding a receipt in her husband’s pocket, Nancy begins to suspect infidelity. To confirm her suspicions, she enlists the help of her colleague, Dave, to follow Fred.
